Automotive plants or
surface finishing industries that use carbon blocks, zeolite blocks, or
other regenerative thermal units to limit VOC exhaust
emissions require pre-filtration to insure protection of the blocks and
units from high concentrations of paint particles in the air. Filters
should be chosen on the basis of particle collection efficiency and life
to reduce the total operating costs of these systems.
