Powder Coat - Intake and Recovery

d063fp9.tif (237218 byte) For numerous products being processed in powder form, the cost-efficiency of the production process depends on how effectively the powder is recovered. This applies to electrostatic powder coating processes, for example, and also to pneumatic silo filling operations. Using Viledon nonwoven filter cartridges results in savings due to the optimal amount of product recovered.

In solvent-free coating processes, the main object is to make sure that the "overspray" is efficiently recovered, and fed back into the spray powder supply. Without a powder recovery feature, this kind of coating process could not be operated cost-efficiently.

Nonwoven cartridges from Freudenberg, with their proven long useful lifetimes, are excellent choices for this type of application. The versatile Viledon filters can be washed and dried and then used for different colors.
